The National Palace Museum is an art gallery and museum in Taipei, Taiwan. Established in Beijing in 1925, the museum houses the world’s largest collection of priceless Chinese artworks, spanning 8,000 years of continental East Asia’s history. Most of the 697,490 objects were originally part of the Imperial Art Collection assembled by Qing Emperor Qianlong. The exhibits originated in the Forbidden City and were brought to Taiwan by Chiang Kai-shek when he fled the mainland in 1949. Only the finest pieces from the imperial collection are preserved here. Even so, this treasure is far too extensive to be displayed all at once. Many of the particularly valued pieces are on permanent display. However, most of the collection of jade, porcelain, paintings and bronzes are regularly exchanged.
The Chimei Museum was founded in 1992 by entrepreneur Shi Wen-Long in Tainan, Taiwan. The museum has been located in a park in the Rende district since 2014. The Chimei Museum collections include five categories: Western Art; Musical instruments, natural history, weapons and armor, antiques and artifacts.

Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s challenging to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and appearance. I must say that you’ve done a great job with this. Additionally, the blog loads super fast for me on Internet explorer. Superb Blog!
